The 14 tented rooms are styled with subtle African tones and have beautiful private decks, perfect for sitting and observing the goings-on along the riverbed. With the backdrop of majestic mountains, including the white-capped Mount Kenya, guests will soon fall into the rhythm of the African wilderness when staying here during their Kenya Safari.

Each of the guest tents at Elephant Bedroom Luxury Tented Camp is built on an elevated wooden terrace, making them perfect for unwinding after your game drives.

Elephant Bedroom Camp offers excellent cuisine and service. Weather permitting, Breakfast and lunch are served ‘al fresco’ on the banks of the Ewaso Nyiro River. Private meals can be arranged on the guest veranda or under the stars.

Activities at Elephant Bedroom Camp focus on educating visitors to the Samburu National Reserve’s flora and animals. During game drives at the Samburu National Reserve, visitors have many opportunities to observe a broad range of Kenya’s wildlife, including both the Big Five and lesser-known species specially found in the Northern Kenya region. Samburu special five includes Beisa Oryx, reticulated giraffe, Somali Ostrich, Grevy zebra and gerenuk. Nothing beats a Kenya safari like spotting the special five in Samburu National reserve.

The instructive guided bush walks at Elephant Bedroom Camp bring visitors as near to the native flora and creatures as possible so they may discover how the locals interact with nature on a daily basis. The camp also makes arrangements for cultural visits to a nearby Masai Samburu village so that guests may learn about the Samburu culture. Lectures on Samburu culture by the resident naturalist is something to look forward to during your stay at Elephant Bedroom Camp.

A memorable breakfast in the bush surrounded by the breathtaking scenery and far-off rolling hills, may be the perfect way to finish off the early morning game drive. The evening game drives ends with a stop on a picturesque spot for sundowners and watch the sun set over the African plains.

After a long day on safari, you can relax at the classy open-front lounge tent with cozy couches and armchairs and a breathtaking view of the Ewaso Nyiro river is. On the riverbank, there are hammocks hung amongst the trees, and there is a seating area with a bonfire that is perfect for relaxing around after the sun has set and telling stories about your safari.
