5 days African safari
During this enchanted season of the Wildebeest Migration, see the birth of up to 8000 calves each day. This is one of our best-selling safari itineraries since it is ideal for a trip throughout the months of December to March. Luxe Africa Safari has got you covered. We arrange your 5 day African safari in a tailor-knit version.
Many animals start their lives in the Ndutu area of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. A half million baby wildebeests are born during the calving season, which lasts only a few brief weeks.
This is because the region’s fertile volcanic soil and the wet season work together to produce a lush carpet of short savannah grass.
As soon as you arrive in Tarangire, your game drive will start through a beautiful panorama of the unending golden savannah that encircles the Tarangire River. The river itself flows year-round and serves as a crucial supply of water for the local animals throughout the dry season. The river, which is surrounded by acacia and Baobab trees, is frequently frequented by the park’s many elephants as well as other herbivores including zebras and antelopes.
A picnic lunch by the river is a wonderful way to take it all in, but you’ll need to be vigilant since the neighborhood monkey population will do its hardest to get in between you and your food!
Additionally, when driving through the park, you’ll have the chance to witness lions, elephants, cheetahs and wildbeasts. The day will start with a beautiful journey to the Serengeti. We’ll go through the mist-shrouded rainforests of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area along the way, and if you’re fortunate, you could catch a glimpse of elephants, leopards, elephants, or cape buffalo in the deep underbrush.
The Ndutu Plains are a roughly four-hour journey away, but you can choose to take a break with one or both of the extra activities listed below: Museum in Oldupai Gorge: The Oldupai Gorge Museum honors some of the earliest signs of human settlement ever discovered and is occasionally referred to as the Cradle of Mankind. You may witness some of the earliest fossil traces of human settlement here, and you can learn more about the human journey at the Oldupai Gorge Museum.
Visit one of the well-known Maasai bomas for the chance to see (and take part in) traditional Maasai dancing, see a real Maasai town, and even do a little souvenir shopping at the neighborhood market. Both of the aforementioned activities are extra-costly. Consult your safari specialist about include these on your schedule. It’s time to see the plains proper after a delectable lunch at one of the picnic sites.
Experience the famous savannah environment of Africa and be astounded by the enormous variety of creatures that live there. Depending on the level and kind of lodging chosen from our alternatives, dinner and overnight will be spent in the center of the Ndutu Plains. The 5 star African safari must be inclusive of excellent sites.
