Ololo Safari Lodge

Ololo Safari Lodge

Ololo Safari Lodge provides individualized service together with the coziness and comfort of a home.  Ololo Safari Lodge is a modest lodge that was once a traditional Kenyan farmhouse, and is well positioned on the picturesque banks of the Mbagathi River, which serves as the Nairobi National park’s southern boundary.

Jomo Kenyatta International Airport and Wilson Airport, which are major airports in Nairobi are both within 45-minute drive from the lodge.

Ololo Safari Lodge delivers the pleasures of delectable ‘paddock to plate’ fresh foods and is located on a thriving 20-acre working farm. The well-established and exclusive gardens allow visitors to settle down and take in a distinctive safari experience.

Wildlife may be found right outside the lodge, and everyone can sip sundowners while taking in the spectacular views of the national park and the renowned Ngong Hills to the west. You may also while away the hours in the lodge’s swimming pool or go on an exciting safari into the park, see the Ololo Farm, or a day excursion to Karen blixen museum, David Sheldrick Elephant Orphage and Giraffe centre.

The rooms at Ololo Safari Lodge are distinctive, varied, and each is carefully furnished with sensitivity to historical detail. The lodging options at Ololo Safari Lodge include the former farm stables that have been turned into cottages.

The lodge is fortunate to be within the Nairobi National Park and to have the distinctive fauna that calls the park home right outside our door. You can go for morning and afternoon game drives at the Nairobi National Park, the world’s only national park situated on the outskirts of a major city.

The park is unique in that it is the only national park in the world that shares a boundary with a vibrant capital city. Local Masai community leaders left it to the Kenyan government and created it as a national park in 1964. Nairobi National Park, which is around 117 square kilometers in size, offers a varied conservation region with savannah grasslands, wooded areas, and rocky gorge terrain.
