Porini Lion Camp is an environmentally friendly safari camp that is located in the prestigious Olare Motogori Conservancy. It was built with little environmental effect in mind. It is a camp that runs entirely on solar power and without any permanent constructions.

Porini Lion Camp offers a traditionally traditional safari camp from which to go out on game drives and nature walks to explore the animals of Kenya’s flagship reserve. It is located along the banks of the Ntiakatiak River and adjacent to the Masai Mara.
The goal of this really authentic, environmentally friendly safari experience is to re-establish a connection with nature while enjoying fantastic game watching under the guidance of knowledgeable guides inside a private concession at Porini Lion Camp.
There are 10 roomy and comfortable tents at the Porini Lion Camp, each with an own verandah from which to take in the expansive views. Before returning to Porini Lion Camp, take part in morning, afternoon, and evening game drives in specially designed safari vehicles. While doing so, take in the views of the Ntiakatiak River, which is home to permanent hippo pods and attracts a variety of other animals.
Within the Olare Motorogi Conservancy, Porini Lion Camp is situated in a distinctive and breathtaking environment on the banks of the ephemeral Ntiakatiak River. Numerous species, including the famed Big Cats of the Maasai Mara, may be seen in this sizable region that borders the Maasai Mara National Reserve. The conservancy offers the best game watching because of its pristine natural condition, and the Porini Lion Camp, which has just nine tents and one family unit, guarantees visitors a true “away from it all” experience in the heart of the African bush.

The luxurious, roomy tents are artistically decorated, high-quality, and equipped with solar lighting, ensuite bathrooms (with hot showers and flush toilets), and private verandas. There is some free laundry available. Turnaround time is influenced by the weather because laundry is done by hand and dried outside. We don’t wash underpants out of respect for regional culture and traditions. If visitors prefer to do their own laundry, washing powder is available in each of our guest rooms.
The Porini Lion Camp lodging is entirely inclusive of all meals, beverages, and activities if you’re seeking for an African safari package. To provide the greatest possible wildlife viewing, game safari drives (shared) are conducted in specially adapted off-road (44) safari vehicles with knowledgeable safari guides.
