Drive you to the accommodation that is so close to Volcanoes National Park. You will eat along the way at a respectable roadside eatery with lovely views of the hills behind you that have been expertly tilled. Early in the evening as you arrive at the hotel, the sights of the alluring mist-covered hills will heighten the adrenaline rush of your gorilla hike and add to the memorability of your Rwanda safari.
Arrive at the park tourism offices with lunch boxes as soon as the first morning light appears. After meeting the gorilla trekking staff and receiving briefings on the rules, you depart into the rainforest.
When you finally meet the gorilla trekking family, you will have gained a lot of knowledge about the surrounding area and habitat. You will be with them for only an hour once you are there, so you must take advantage of the opportunity to engage with the gorillas. After lunch, you will be transferred to Kigali city. After breakfast, go on a tour of the city to see the top attractions, including the Genocide Memorial at Gisozi and local marketplaces where you can get a feel for the locals and buy gifts for friends and family.
The highlight of your Rwanda safari is when your guide drops you off at Kigali International Airport to catch your flight home.
